Beware of evil around the corner, hiding from view, ready to pounce. Stand your ground and be firm in your resolve not to give in to it or let it catch you off guard. Control your anger when it arises so that you do not shame My kingdom. Every step matters. Make them Kingdom steps full of good, impacting all. Know your weaknesses and work on them, always praying for My assistance. I love to assist and be involved in your day-to-day struggles, as well as your achievements. Know your limits and do not push yourself too hard. This can harm you as well. Love yourself enough to mind your hours, and what you do with them. Arise above your challenges and be holy as I am holy. Know I am with you and love you to the end of time.
I needed this message today. It’s so easy to get swept into the routine of daily living that we forget how precious each step, each day really is. That every step counts. That every step is either a Kingdom step… or it isn’t.
There will be an end to time on this earth but there will not be an end to time itself. Time will go on. Our steps today will shape our future in eternity. Think about that.
Lord, give me not a divided heart. Order my every step to be a Kingdom step and lead me in Your Way everlasting.
Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. (1 Peter 5:8 NIV)
Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. (James 4:7 NIV)
Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger; for the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God. (James 1:19-20 ESV)
But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy (1 Peter 1:15-16 NIV)
Teach me your way, Lord, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your
name. (Psalm 86:11 NIV)
Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. (Psalm 139:23-24 NIV)
